The name Sanara comes from the Spanish word sanará which means ‘you will heal’. When I created Sanara it was a voice I wanted to bring to clean beauty, but it goes so much deeper than that for me. My intention has always been, “How can I bring a voice in beauty while giving back to help further bring healing to a community that has help raise me?”

To help me achieve this I make monthly donations to Latinitas and Sueños Sin Fronteras de Tejas.

Latinitas is the first digital magazine made by and for young Latinas, it is one of the only bilingual tech organization’s in the U.S. Empowering all girls to innovate through media and technology.

Sueños Sin Fronteras de Tejas (SSFTX) is a Latinx, WOC-led collective providing health and healing support and access to immigrant womxn and children in the U.S.
